This. Really, in this entire world, this is what you get worked up about? Those people dressed like that because they were fucking poor, not because they were trying to make a ‘statement’. They didn’t just get together and say, ‘hey, let’s create this super exclusive movement where only cool kids enjoy our music and wear our kinds of clothes and we’ll call it grunge’. They were just poor, sloppily dressed guys who played in bands. Deal with it.
